Key Features

NFleet is an assistant for transportation planning - it creates an overall optimized plan for transportations, ensuring the most efficient operations. The user’s task is to list transportation orders and available vehicles. NFleet calculates and displays the plan, and the user can adjust the planning by refining the order or vehicle details as needed.

NFleet is also useful for calculating offers and analyzing transport operations more broadly.

Optimization

The planner can guide the optimization by adjusting the task and vehicle information.

For transportation tasks, information such as addresses, time windows, stop durations, capacities, and additional rules (if necessary) are provided.

For vehicles, information such as location, availability times, capacities, and additional data (if needed) are provided.

Operational Area and Capacity

Plans can be made for almost all of Europe, and new countries are added as needed. The scale of the transportation is flexible; they can be, for example, local deliveries or long-distance cross-border truck transports.

The number of transportation tasks in optimization can be up to 2000 pickup-and-delivery pairs, although it is often easier and faster to break large task volumes into smaller parts. The number of vehicles in the plan can be up to 100.

Integration and Technology

In the simplest case, the usage is entirely local: the planner enters (usually by copying and modifying) the initial data and starts the optimization. Based on the results, the plan can either be implemented as is or adjusted by modifying the initial data and re-optimized.

Multiple plans can be created in parallel to compare alternatives.

NFleet can also be technically integrated to Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, either file-based or via API. NFleet is a cloud service that is accessed through a web browser.
